I would like to officially change my name to DD-MaliciousMagpie

It's been my name on CSS for a couple months now and I really like it. You can still refer to me as EB, Eastern, etc if you'd like, I'll know your talking to me haha, but EasternBoarder just wasn't very original and has gotten kind of old. I feel like this new name is a better representation of me, being humorous, but also not letting people forget that I'm a danger FranzGrins.gif

So, without further ado, could I please have my name changed to DD-MaliciousMagpie happy.gif

PS. To avoid confusion, please refrain from using Mag as a new nickname for me (im not trying to steal your fame/name mag) rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

Like I said, feel free to keep calling me EB, Eastern, or whatever else you wish.

I just have grown so used to the name from having it on CSS that I figured I'd make the change.

EB I think thats a great handle go for. Looks good so far. As for the Birds and bird droppings I would like to share this story with all of you.

As you know recently I bought a 2007 BMW 325i. One particular morning I pulled into my far away parking area at my job. Car was looking great. This was 6:00am. At 4:30pm I came out to get into my car to go home and I saw a big white and purple spot on my hood with litte seeds in it. I couldnt believe that all the precautions I took to proctect this car and a bird drops a bomb load on the hood of my brand new BMW. Having said that, I drove home as quickly as I could. I sprayed some soap water on the stained area and rubbed like hell. It took some elbow grease to get it off but, I rubbed so hard that I scratched the finish. Oh my heart sank. I really messed it up. So then I grab my rub compound and start to use that to get the scratches off. So rubbed and rubbed and it finally came down to just a dull spot on the finish. Well then I tried to polish it to bring the shine back and hopefully restore the finish. No deal! Know I had a shinney dull spot. It wasnt funny at the time. Lol

I called the dealer and talk to my salesman and he just laughed and laughed. I wasnt laughing. So he told me to bring it in Thrusday of last week. Luckey we took it to the new/used car detail shop and the tec took some blue liqued stuff and buffed it in with a high speed buffer. Then he used this cream colored stuff and buffed that in. Then he changed pads and sprayed water on the hood and buffed again. And guess what! It came out and look just like new. He told me that when birds eat mallberries that it turns to acid and can ruine a car finish in my case it had all day to bake in to my finish. He said that BMW paint jobs are some of the best finishes in the car industry. So I lucked out. Im think about a car cover. LMAO Tee hee hee. He did tell me in the future to go to a high pressure car was and spray the bird droppings off like that for now on and then polish. He told me to twice a year to use a good paste wax to coat the entire car and I shouldnt have a problem again. I hope this helps in case someone else has this problem. Just Sharing. FranzGrins.gif

thats a euro magpie wrath, in the summer time they fly down and rake u if u get too close to their nests, problem is it's hard to know where their nests are..
i use to feed them from my old house when i was a kid, from my hand...i got a great story for u about magpies.

me and my dad where out side he was drininking and we just got home from work and we seen a chicken hawk come outa a tree with a magpie chick under it, outa no where, like 15 maggies came out and ramed this thing from all angles and until it dropped the chick, was awesome to see other familys of magpies come to the aid of the other, i'll remeber that for the rest of my life, by far my fav birds!

i think we got some photos of one when we stopped in brisbane, the song they sing is awesome too, unlike any other bird,

thats what we had to deal with growing up
