thats a euro magpie wrath, in the summer time they fly down and rake u if u get too close to their nests, problem is it's hard to know where their nests are..
i use to feed them from my old house when i was a kid, from my hand...i got a great story for u about magpies.
me and my dad where out side he was drininking and we just got home from work and we seen a chicken hawk come outa a tree with a magpie chick under it, outa no where, like 15 maggies came out and ramed this thing from all angles and until it dropped the chick, was awesome to see other familys of magpies come to the aid of the other, i'll remeber that for the rest of my life, by far my fav birds!
i think we got some photos of one when we stopped in brisbane, the song they sing is awesome too, unlike any other bird,

thats what we had to deal with growing up
