this pic shows the funnel starting up, and the angle (and living here this long) I can say that is within 100 yards of my apartment. The funnel was moving away from that pic.
One hellova day and 29 hours of no power at home, but the lights were on at work(figures). Most of the Bristol damage is within a quarter mile of my apartment. Now that the power is on I will try to remember to grab a few of the pics that we all got and post them too.
Wow Mo, I'm just glad to hear it went away from you 100 yards lol We get a lot of tornado's here but this year we only had 4 come by us. I remember when we would be playing and the alarms go off and you guys are like umm dont you need to go, and Bezy and I would say neah lol
Here is a pic of one that came through a few years back ...Jay used it as a desk top background picture LOL
No kidding!!! They now confirmed the 4 tornadoes were really 1, jumping up and down do to the hill terrain of the area. Bristol did take the hardest hit do to where it came down. The top of a flat hill, known as Federal Hill area, just let that twister run a bit. It fell off the side and did its last 50 feet of damage as it jumped up again. It spun for a little longer but never came down again.
